St. Ives is an affluent suburb in northern Sydney, Australia, part of the Upper North Shore and 16 kilometers north of the CBD. It is part of the Ku-ring-gai Local Government Area. St Ives is home to the St Ives Shopping Village which is a small shopping centre, across from the Village Green, Skate Bowl and Scout Hall.
St. Ives is also home to populations of people of Jewish and South African backgrounds some of whom attend the school Masada College.
It was once known for its apple orchard but due to residential demand, there is no longer any commercial fruit growing in the area.
