St. Gregory Barbarigo School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

St. Gregory Barbarigo School (commonly known as SGB or St. Greg's) is a Roman Catholic school in Garnerville, New York. It teaches children from kindergarten to eighth grade. Opened in 1963, as of 2005-2006, the enrollment is slightly under 200 students.[1][2]

It has a longstanding rivalry with the Immaculate Conception School in Stony Point and has a connection of sending graduates to Albertus Magnus High School.[citation needed]

The school has a full-time nurse funded by the public North Rockland School District. Under budget difficulties in 2006, the board had considered having one nurse shared among the 3 Catholic schools in the area. In late July, however, the superintendent announced that the full-time nurse would remain.[3][4]
