St. Francis DeSales High School is located in Columbus, Ohio and is part of the Catholic Diocese of Columbus. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students, in four grade levels.

St. Francis DeSales High School is located in Columbus, Ohio. A majority of the student body lives in the Westerville and Columbus school districts, with students also from Worthington, Delaware, Dublin, and Gahanna, among others.

St. Francis DeSales High School is the recipient of two Blue Ribbon Awards of Excellence in Education.

- The varsity football team has been state runner-up four times, in 1984, 1996, 2001 and 2005, and has won the Division III state championship three times, in 1985, 1997 and 1998. The team participated in the state championship competition in 2005.

- School colors: Purple is the main color, white is secondary. Often, in place of the white, black or silver (gray) is used. The inclusion of gold (yellow) as a contrasting color has been discussed.
- School mascot: The stallion. Most female teams are the "Lady Stallions," with the notable exception of the girls golf team.
- Patron saint: The school's namesake, and the patron saint of the Columbus Diocese, St. Francis de Sales.
