St. Francis' College, Lucknow

One of the oldest schools in Lucknow, St. Francis' College is affiliated to Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi and offers education for boys till Standard XII. It was founded in 1885 by Father Norbert. It is located on Shah Najaf Road, near Hazratganj, the heart of Lucknow. The patron saint is St. Francis of Assisi. It has more than 90 teachers and has about 3,500 students per academic year. Since its inception till the present day, St. Francis' has reached high levels of excellence in fields of both academics and sports. The school's motto is Pax et Bonum. St. Francis' College is affiliated with the Franciscan order. The current principal is Fr. Vincent Pinto.

[edit] Old Franciscans' Association

The alumni association of St. Francis' College is called the Old Franciscans' Association (OFA). They are the organisers for CROSSROAD which is the annual Inter Collegiate Festival in Lucknow.
