It is one of the premier intermediate level colleges in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh, India), managed by the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow. The school was established in the year 1977 and is affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.

The college was established in the name of Saint Dominic Savio (April 2, 1842 - March 9, 1857), it imparts education from Pre Nursery to Intermediate Level of education.
