St. Bernard is a 4th class municipality in the province of Southern Leyte, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 23,089 people in 4,746 households.

On February 17, 2006, a tragic series of mudslides killed up to 200 residents with 1,500 people still missing.
