[edit] Intensity (physics)
Thanks for the helpful message. I was wnodering: is there a reason "Amplitude" links to a Wikipedia article but not "Strength" or "Pressure"? Thanks. TWCarlson 04:25, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Importance
I think on that one I ended up deciding that if Laser was top importance than optical cavity was High. Unfortunately importance is really vaguely defined. I was pretty unsure about polarizer and waveguide and figured that at least putting something a rating I was iffy on there would encourage anyone who disagrees with it to change it. — Laura Scudder ☎ 23:14, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Doing something about the ridiculous date autoformatting/linking mess
Dear Srleffler—you may be interested in putting your name to, or at least commenting on this new push to get the developers to create a parallel syntax that separates autoformatting and linking functions. IMV, it would go a long way towards fixing the untidy blueing of trivial chronological items, and would probably calm the nastiness between the anti- and pro-linking factions in the project. The proposal is to retain the existing function, to reduce the risk of objection from pro-linkers. Tony 15:06, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I protected the page for now. Can you help keep an eye on them for a little while and report them to WP:AIV if they keep at it? DVD+ R/W 06:23, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
