Hey Srikeit, given that you are Indian, I thought you may have a bit more knowledge about this than I. A user has claimed that this is a hoax/possible attack page, but I really have no knowledge of the region or the language, so I hoped you may be able to provide a bit of input. Thanks. AmiDaniel (talk) 09:24, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for moving the Mighty Max page for me! R5t6y7 18:17, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

RFCU Clerks discussion page

I moved most of the discussion to the talk page, so the main Clerks' Noticeboard can have the requests from checkusers rather than boatloads of discussion. Its a boldness, and I hope it makes things easier for us. If the watchlists don't work out, it the talk may have to be moved to yet a different page, but for now I think it looks pretty good. Hello!

Hello my friend! Good to hear from you. I just spent the past week in Northern Canada giving medical services to underserviced areas. For the week, I was working 36 hours on then 12 hours off, and usually sacrificed 2 or 3 of those hours of sleep to play with my new admin buttons! I wish I had time for IRC or chat, but unfortunately, they would affect my patient care. Are you a fan of WP:PINQ? Haven't seen you there. Cheers -- Samir धर्म 05:27, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Your Tool2 edit count summary

I was wondering if your count summary used on Tangotango's RfA was self-made or generated by a bot. If the latter, I may like to write one. Thanks. --Xyrael T 17:09, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for the ultra-fast response - I'll give it a shot. The difficulty is that Interiot's tool loads the stuff as JavaScript and lets FireFox do the calculating - let's hope I find a way round. Thanks again. --Xyrael T 18:16, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

RfA thanks!

Thanks for voting!
Hello Srikeit/archive 6, and thank you so much for voting in my recent RfA. I am pleased to inform you that it passed with a final tally of (119/1/3), into the WP:100, so I have now been cleared for adminship and will soon be soaring above the clouds. I was overjoyed, shocked, and humbled by the tally, and, most importantly, all the support. Thank you. If there is ever anything you need, you know where you can find me. Take care.

My RfA

Hello Srikeit, and thanks for voting in my recent RfA, which passed with a tally of (68/19/3). I appreciated your comments, which I hope to take on board in order to gain your respect in my work as an administrator. Best of luck in your continued editing of the encyclopedia! Break

Hey Srikeit. I am going on a short wikibreak. I have a seminar and project coming up at college which should take a bulk of my time. I may not be visiting wikpedia everyday. So keep a watch on the Ahmedabad article. I would like to work on the article once I have some time. Please mail me if there is anything urgent which requires my attention. Also, I would not like to miss your RfA. If I am not back till then, please mail me when you apply (or get nominated). - Aksi_great (talk) 13:48, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm sure many of you who are using monobook have noticed recently an ugly sitenotice saying something about wikimania and scholarships. Well, to remove that, put the following in your monobook.css:

/* REMOVE THAT UGLY SITENOTICE */

#siteNotice {
    display: none;
}

I hope this is of any help to you!

Thanks, --GeorgeMoney T·C 19:08, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Edits by 217.194.34.116

Hi Srikeit! I noticed you reverted some edits by user 217.194.34.116 on the Meghalaya article. I just wanted to bring it to your attention that the same user has been removing Hindi place names in a lot of other articles. The user has also added some POV comments to the Hindi article. Is their some way he can be curtailed? RMehra 05:44, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi Srikeit! Thank you very much for your support and attention on this matter. Your help is much appreciated. RMehra 06:00, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

User 24.4.105.240

Hi Srikeit. I noticed that you reverted some of 24.4.105.240 's edit on Mahoraba but I believe that these were valid edits. All the information the user added is true and I can vouch for that with screenshots of the anime if necessary. --Squilibob 06:46, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Hindi translation on articles

I saw you reverted the removal of Hindi translation on Karnataka article by an anon. I feel Hindi is not required there. The local language should suffice. We would be starting the "Hindi is/is not the national language debate" if that stayed. Let me know your thoughts. - Ganeshk (talk) 17:47, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

A short Esperanzial update

As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.

As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.

RFA stats

Feel free to do updates (or improvements) to any of my subpages in The NoSeptember Admin Project. I get to them all eventually but am sometimes a few weeks behind (I just got caught up on most yesterday as I make an effort to get good end-of-the-month stats and we are coming up on the end of a quarter in a few days). Go ahead and fix that typo and any others you find :-). NoSeptember 11:43, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Sorry for making you do it, but I like other users to appear in the history of my pages, so it doesn't look like they are reserved for me only :-). NoSeptember 12:28, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

RfA Thank You

Srikeit!! Thank you for nominating me - as you already know, my RfA passed unanimously with a final tally of 109/0/0. I'd like to once again thank you for nominating me and supporting me throughout the RfA. Your support was unbelievably warm and helpful, and it helped to boost my morale quite a bit :) Also, I love your optimism! You have a special place in my Wikipedian heart :) Anyway, good luck on your next RfA, if and when you have it. Cheers, and happy editing, Tangotango 12:01, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Monobook

Hey, I was filling in my monobook to try and make editing on Wikipedia easier. So I looked at the monobooks of a couple of users I knew. On yours there are things that I thought should only be done by a sysop. So I was wondering which parts of your monobook can be used by an ordinary user. By the way, your listed as a VoA scripted admin...Thanks. Nobleeagle (Talk) 00:31, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

CU Bonifide.hustla

Actually, I was thinking that since hustla was shown not related in the second case, that the second case should be pulled out of b.h. and added to Aish Warya and kept as a separate page (combine and redirect to the earliest is what I have been doing too, but I was thinking of doing it differently here because there are two confirmed requests linked to Aish Warya and one negative plus one inconclusive on b.h.) Just a thought. Thatcher131 04:30, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Copy rather than cut seems like the best idea. I'll probably do some archiving later tonight but I don't have time until then. Thatcher131 13:26, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

*.gay

Hello,

I just saw that you were one of the persons that decided to delete the article about *.gay.

The information is not a hoax. The program did exist and it aired in Canal 33 IDEAS, CableVision, in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the year 1999. At the time it had worldwide press since it was the first gay tv show in Iberoamerica.

I can email you several articles in different languages that I saved from that time in case you need them to verify the information.

Please reinstate the article and if you need any more information, do let me know.

My RfA

Hi, I would like to express my gratitude for your participation at my recent RfA. The final vote was 68/21/3 and resulted in me becoming an admin!

For those of you who supported my RfA, I highly appreciate your kind words and your trust in me. For those who opposed - many of you expressed valid concerns regarding my activity here; I will make an effort in addressing them as time goes on while at the same time using my admin tools appropriately. So, salamat, gracias, merci, ありがとう, спасибо, धन्यवाद, 多謝, agyamanak unay, شكرًا, cảm ơn, 감사합니다, mahalo, ขอบคุณครับ, go raibh maith agat, dziękuję, ευχαριστώ, Danke, תודה, mulţumesc, გმადლობთ, etc.! If you need any help, feel free to contact me.

My RfA thanks

Hello Srikeit/archive 6, and thank you for your support at my Request for Adminship, which succeeded with an overwhelming final count of (105/2/0). I was very pleased with the outpouring of kind words from the community that has now entrusted me with these tools, from the classroom, the lesson in human psychology and the international resource known as Wikipedia. The Free Encyclopedia. Please feel free to leave me plenty of requests, monitor my actions (through the admin desk on my userpage) and, if you find yourself in the mood, listen to some of what I do in real life. In any case, keep up the great work and have a fabulous day. Grandmasterka 06:50, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
