Sridharan Sriram pronunciation (born February 21, 1976 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu), is an Indian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler.
Sridharan is a prolific run maker in the domestic cricket. He started off as a left-arm spinner, took 29 wickets on India's Under-19 tour of South Africa in 1992/93. He came to be noticed as a batsman, being one of only three batsmen to have scored 1000 runs in a domestic season, when he hit five centuries in the 1999/2000 season. He has since been a consistent opener in the domestic cricket.
He played a few one-day internationals for the national team, but has failed to impress.
