[edit] Disambig?

I think that this should be the disambiguation page, and then we save Spyro the Dragon (game) for the first game. Tom Temprotran 01:01, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

It might actually be better to have the disambig page at Spyro (it is currently a redirect to the Spyro character article), and this article discuss the first game in the series, as the article title is the proper title of that game (this is consistent with some other game articles, such as The Legend of Zelda.) --Stratadrake 01:48, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nov Clean up

I deleted the list of enemies as it was a long and indiscriminate list WP:NOT. I also deleted the section telling players where all of the dragon eggs can be found in the levels. The info belongs on one of the wikigaming sites but not here Pnkrockr 16:37, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

UBER AGREED. Had I been checking up on this article more often I'd have done it myself, indiscriminate lists must begone. --Stratadrake 04:03, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] December cleanup

Hoo boy, I felt like editing first and asking questions later again. Summary of my latest edit is thus...

  • Reorganized sections; "Gameplay" first, "Story" later.
  • Note that much of the information presented each character describes their role in the game's gameplay, not in the game's narrative. This is why.
  • Removed various POV.
  • Spyro's inability to swim was not "fixed" in later games -- this implies that it was a flaw, which is an opinion. Just because later Spyro games featured underwater swimming does not mean that earlier games should be criticized for not having it.
  • Removed indiscriminate information, the stuff that would be more at home in a videogame strategy guide (which Wikipedia is not).
  • List of Sparx's colors and what they mean. If it's worth mentioning, then please integrate it into the article, don't just provide a list.
  • List of Gem color denominations.
  • Lists of levels within each world.
  • Removed the mention of flying levels. Yes, the levels are notable and should be mentioned, but the second-person references are simply unacceptable. I'm sure there's a decent version of their mention somewhere in this article's edit history, I'll go dig it up later.
