Obviously a parody of the Spruce Goose, I think this has been mentioned in several works of fiction. While I don't have the resources to expand it mself, I seem to remember this in a Disney Afternoon show (Ducktales or TaleSpin, maybe?) and the current "article" mentions a Simpsons reference. -- WikidSmaht (talk) 19:53, 19 October 2005 (UTC) (Note: I didn't create it, just saw it as a speedy candidate.)

[edit] Simpsons "Model"

I'm not sure the "model" of the Spruce Moose was actually a "model" - I think that was the actual "Spruce Moose". This is evidenced by the fact that when Mr. Smithers says "That's quite a nice model." Mr. Burns replies, "Model?" --DeanHarding 04:57, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
