Sprinkle Spangles

Sprinkle Spangles was a short-lived breakfast cereal by General Mills. It was introduced in 1994. The cereal was of star-shaped pieces covered with multi-colored sprinkles. As the commercials say, they spangled every angle with sprinkles. Sprinkle Spangles became no longer available in 1995.

The mascot of Sprinkle Spangles was a Sprinkle Genie. He would often appear in front of a couple of kids who wished they had sprinkles for breakfast. The genie also had his own little catch phrase as well: "You wish it, I dish it!" He was voiced by Dom DeLuise. Before the cereal retired, the mascot was dropped.
