Spring Mountain Vineyards

Spring Mountain Vineyard is a 225 acre vineyard consisting of 135 different vineyard blocks scattered over the 845 acre estate in California's Napa Valley.
The original winery was established in 1884 and the current vineyards on the eastern slope of Spring Mountain at elevations varying from 400 to 1450 feet. Spring Mountain Vineyard achieved international recognition when its Chardonnay outranked Beaune Clos des Mouches Joseph Drouhin, Batard-Montrachet Ramonet-Prudhon and Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles Domaine Leflaive in blind wine tastings at the Paris Wine Tasting of 1976.
