Spring Garden (BRS station)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Spring Garden was a station on SEPTA's Broad-Ridge Spur. The station was closed in 1991 due to low ridership and its proximity to the Spring Garden station on the main Broad Street line, the two stations being located about three blocks from each other.
It is still possible to see the station while on the subway train, there is graffiti on the walls, along with random trash on the platforms. The entrances to the station from the surface are now sealed and covered over. The station is featured in the book Weird Pennsylvania.
