Hello, my name is Jared. I am a 21 year old Computer Science and Accounting major at Washington University in St. Louis. Born and raised in Queens, NY but not a Mets fan by any means. I now reside in East Meadow, LI against my will.

The most important things in my life (besides my family and friends) are:

I guess I'll explain the above. I am a season ticket holder for the New York Yankees, 46 games a year sitting in the rightfield bleachers (with the Bleacher Creatures). This team is my life. Maybe when I'm rich I can buy them someday.

The four major sports...I mean look at my username. Sports is everything to me, real or fantasy. It consumes like 92.53% of my average day. But that's ok, because it's great.

While I attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science in Bronx, NY back in the day, I was the captain of the Varsity Bowling team. And I'm damn proud of being a lefty too.

Holdem...well there's just no greater card game out there, hands down. I will be in the World Series main event some day (not this year, even though I'll be attending for part of it) and my goal is to make the top 200. This also consumes a huge part of my day, unless I'm not playing online for some reason.

Movies are just awesome. You can't argue that.

I only joined Wikipedia in August 2006 but have tried to make a big impact right away. I am currently trying to make the New York Yankees page FA-worthy by editing it like every day. It's the most productive thing I have accomplished at work in a very long time. If you ever see the Yankees page on the front of wikipedia.org, then remember me.

In recent news, the New Jersey Devils article has attained FEATURED STATUS!!. After the second time I nominated it, it has passed. Woohoo!!!
