Spokane University

Spokane University was a four-year liberal arts college that operated from 1913 to 1933. In 1935 Spokane University was reorganized as Spokane Junior College and moved into the city of Spokane from its original location in the Spokane Valley. The former site of the university, twenty-three acres at Ninth and Herald Streets, has been the home of University High School since 1960.
