SPOT Image

Spot Image, is a French company which also has a primary office in the United States. They specialize in distributing French 10-meter imagery, which is adequate for creating tactical maps and well-suited to doing wide area surveillance (as opposed to precision imagery, which is best done using 1-meter and 2-meter imagery).
They are notable primarily in the context of proving the value of Open source intelligence, and were one of the six companies that responded, pro bono, with useful open source information when asked to do so by the Aspin-Brown Commission.
