A splade is a variation of the spork.

In addition to the overall spoon shape and the fork tines, it has a somewhat sharp edge or blade on one or both sides, so it has the use of a spoon, fork, and knife in one utensil. The word is a portmanteau of the words 'spoon' and 'blade'. The term seems to be most used in Australia, probably due to the trademarked "Splayds" version which was developed there, and very popular in 1960s - in fact the now-generic word "splade" may be derived from this brandname.
