I'm not particularly warming to starting a User: page for myself, but here's something that can be considered as something in progress. (Is there a stub template for user pages...? :-)

[edit] General Info
I currently reside in Sydney, Australia, and have been a registered user of Wikipedia since mid-November 2005, albeit an avid consumer of WP for quite a while before that.
I somehow hooked myself into editing here, starting with an anonymous-coward-type edit on the article for ABC NewsRadio in early November 2005, then registered and eventually found myself a first niche in the articles covering railway stations in Sydney's CityRail network, mainly cleaning up articles and adding new stubs for stations not previously covered.
Apart from this, any editing from me is likely to be sporadic at best.
[edit] Other Significant Contributions
Other articles that I either started or felt that I made a "significant" contribution to (however subjective that might be - if it's just a broken link fix or something, it's definitely not "significant"):
[edit] Userboxes, Wikipedia memes etc
I prefer to have these listed under a heading inside the body instead of in a breakout box, partly so I can comment on them if need be.
[edit] Natural Languages
1337-0 | This user has no idea what the hell 1337 is and/or prefers to contribute using proper words. |
I think these two go really well hand in hand, don't you think? More the latter explanation with the l337-speak one; I can comprehend maybe to '2' level, but often only use it myself to mock those that do. :-)
[edit] Programming Languages
js-2 | This user is an intermediate JavaScript coder. |
vb-2 | This user is an intermediate Visual Basic programmer. |
java-0 | This user has some undisclosed problems with Java. |
Predominantly using PHP/XHTML skills nowadays, although capable of using others like C/C++, Visual Basic (my original upbringing through the programming world started with VB; shame me). Java knowledge is listed as '0' level as I'm really limited to understanding its C-style syntax, but not too much more beyond that.
[edit] Memes/Tests
This user scored 132.5 on the wikipediholic test. |
(actually 132.5 plus that question worth 6.67 x 10-34 points, but I couldn't fit that into the box. :-) Taken on 2005-12-09.
This meme result, although considered 'optimal' according to it, is still somewhat scary to me seeing that I have only been relatively active for the best part of two weeks (at time of writing)...
