Spitkicker
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Spitkicker is by its own definition "A collective unit that, through the power and use of words, will set trends, unify cultures, and create positive standards for communities."
The group, which was founded in the Spring of 2000, is closely associated with hip-hop. It's affiliates (musicians, actors and athletes) are generally positive-minded individuals whose intent is to positively influence all communities through entertainment.
The following artists are claimed to be a part of Spitkicker:
- Ali Shaheed Muhammad - Black Ice - Black Star - Dave Chappelle - De La Soul - Freddie Foxx - J-Live - Jean Grae - Kanye West - Marcus Samuelson - MF Doom - Michael Rapaport - MOP - Pharoahe Monch - Phife - Res - Talib Kweli - Wordsworth - DJ Eleven - DJ Rastaroot - Zion I - Knockout Kingz
However, certain artists' involvement with the movement are more obvious than others. Kanye West, for example, seems to have no involvement with Spitkicker, while De La Soul are actively involved.
