Spitfire is an ale brewed by Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewery, in Faversham, Kent. Shepherd Neame is a family owned brewery which produces a range of cask ales and filtered beer. Production is around 200,000 barrels a year. They own over 350 pubs mainly in the south east of England and London.

Spitfire has been Shepherd Neame's best-selling beer in the past decade, publicised by award-winning World War II-themed advertising. Originally produced in 1990 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, Spitfire has a lingering malt and hop flavour, with a well-balanced, lasting aftertaste.

Spitfire is Shepherd Neame's biggest-selling cask conditioned ale. It is available in thousands of pubs nationwide, including most J.D. Wetherspoons outlets, and is also packaged in bottles and cans for the take-home market.
