Spirit releasement

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spirit releasement refers to a process of expelling a foreign entity in a format similar to an exorcism which occurs in Native American, or in some cases a new age format.

William Baldwin, PhD has described popular forms of it in his book Spirit Releasement Therapy, as has Michael Harner, PhD, who found this procedure common among all shamanistic cultures.

Ken Page and Doreen Virtue have formulated more new age approaches.
