Spinosuchus

Spinosuchus is a species of theropod dinosaur from the Jurassic. Named by von Huene in 1932, little is currently known about this genus; the type species, S. caseanus, was named from vertebrae from Texas. It was once considered to be a pseudosuchian, (hence the meaning of "spined crocodile") but has been considered to be a theropod dinosaur since 1998, possibly a herrerasaur.
