"Spinning Around" is a dance–pop song produced by Mike Spencer and written by Ira Shickman, Osborne Bingham, Kara DioGuardi, and Paula Abdul for Australian singer Kylie Minogue's seventh studio album Light Years (2000).
The song was Minogue's first number-one single in both Australia and the United Kingdom in ten years, and marked her return to mainstream music.
Its music video, which features Minogue dancing in a nightclub in revealing gold hot pants received widespread television rotation.
