[edit] Welcome Spencerw

Hi there Spencerw. Welcome to Wikipedia, its always good to see new users. When you get a chance, drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself! You might also like to put a short introduction on your user page so that other wikipedians can get to know you.

You can sign your name on talk pages by using " ~~~ " for your username and " ~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp. Signing your name is important on talk pages because it helps people get in touch with you. Also remember to indent each of your comments using : so that other users can follow the flow of discussions

As well as editing wikipedia you could also think about taking part in many other essential activities that make wikipedia a friendly place. For example you could welcome new users to wikipedia or you could try mediating discussions between other users. There are loads of other options at the Wikipedia:Community Portal.

Some links to get you started in the community:

  • The new users Welcome page is a good place to start.
  • Wikipedia:Tutorial runs through all the basics of editing an article and using Wikipedia.
  • Wikipedia:Help has a broad range of general help topics you may find useful.

If you have any questions or just want to chat then leave a message on my talk page and I'll answer as soon as possible. Happy editing, Daniel.Bryant 10:46, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Hydrolase mech.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Hydrolase mech.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:05, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

You can reupload the image but you must select the appropriate licensing info. Also, check the Chemdraw software to see if you or they own images you create. Thatcher131 01:28, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
