[edit] History
Spencer Knapp began as a humble rave DJ known as ‘’Mister Green Bean’’ who experimented with electroacoustic music and sampling from artists like John Cage and Brett Ziegler creating an interesting and rhythmic electronic edge. He began recording in 1999 as a middle school student and active participant in the DIY movement.
Spencer has released a series of independent CDs, and is currently seeking promotion with a major label.
After leaving his hometown of Joplin, Missouri, Spencer teamed up with vocalist, guitarist and satirist Kraig Schroth who have collaborated on recent recordings.
Combining elements from genres such as rock, ska, and reggae to happy hardcore beats and melodies, Spencer’s music can best be described through the lyrical and rhythmic explorations the music indulges.
