Speedy G (born Ricky Castillo April 18, 1979, California), is a local DJ in the Seattle, Washington area. Speedy's career as a DJ began when he was 16. Initially, he spun at school dances, house parties and at weddings. After his 21st birthday, Speedy began to get gigs spinning at local bars.

In December 2000, Ricky moved to Seattle, and found a job at radio station Kiss 106.1 (KBKS FM) the following April. His first time on the radio happened to be a live broadcast.

In April 2002 Speedy began volunteering at C 89.5 (KNHC-FM), a high school radio station and student training facility. With their dance music format, Speedy felt right at home on the specialty shows The Drive at 5 and on House Arrest with longtime friend and fellow DJ Victor Menegaux. In 2003, Speedy left KISS, and began to spin more in local clubs, including DV8, Medusa, The Loft, Mr. Lucky's and LSC.

At the clubs, Speedy has had opportunity to spin with some of Seattle's finest DJs, including DJ Chronus, Scott Keith, hyperfunk. DJ flave and Johnny Monsoon. As of August 26, 2005, Speedy has stopped spinning on The Drive at 5 so that he could return to school to become a barber. Since the demise of House Arrest in summer 2006, currently, Speedy still retains his gig as a DJ on KNHC's weekly house music show The Overdrive as well as playing in the club scene.
