Spearmint (horse)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spearmint (1903-1924) was an English Thoroughbred racehorse bred by Sir Tatton Sykes. He was sired by Carbine from the mare Maid of the Mint by Minting.

Spearmint's racing career was limited due to health problems and he raced only five times, winning three times including the 1906 Epsom Derby, England's most prestigious flat race, and the important Grand Prix de Paris at the Longchamp Racecourse.
