[edit] Design (9/27/05)
Benson saves a woman named April Troost from committing suicide. Troost was a rape victim and was also pregnant with her rapist's baby. The detectives soon find the alleged rapist and prosecute him, until Troost, a crucial witness to the case, ends up seemingly murdered in a staged car accident. However, it isn't long before the detectives learn that Troost was not as innocent as she seemed and had in fact been making large sums of money off the alleged rape, including "selling" her future baby to multiple married couples and extorting money from the accused rapist. Soon they find that Troost's "rapist" was in fact targeted by Troost to stage a rape, and that she had drugged him and collected his semen through a method known as electroejaculation. Additionally, she has also targeted several other prominent, wealthy men, collecting their semen for her father's sperm center. The detectives go to question Troost's father and find that Troost has actually been alive all along. They arrest her, but she does not have the baby with her. She uses her knowledge of the baby's whereabouts as leverage for a plea bargain and receives no jail time in the end.
NOTE: There was an outtake from the final scene with Lynda Carter at the train station. Chris Meloni could not resist making a Wonder Woman reference. During Eliot's confrontation with her when he tells her that she'll make a mistake sooner or later he adds, "You may be strong and good at this but you're no Wonder Woman." This can be seen on the outtakes in the DVD for Season 7.
