At first, Benson and Stabler identified the victim as a maid but later discovers that her real identity was a film student from Brazil and had a boyfriend whose name was Drew Limery. Drew had a good alibi and passed a lie detector test. Just when they were starting to believe that her death might have been a suicide, the detectives are given strong evidence by George Huang. He revealed to them that the dead victim was given "lateral propostion" (pushed) by the killer. A scientist at the forensics lab comfirmed on her lost high heel and that there was a piece of exotic fabric stuck on her shoe.
