If you want your reviews put on my main review page, submit your reviews here & they may just be put there! Isn't it exciting? YAY!! (If your review is about an existing review, e.g. you wanted to write a review about "Open Water", which I have already done, then it will be placed below the main review & will have a greater chance of being placed on the review page. Thanks.)

[edit] Music Review: Editors

Name: The Back Room.

Artist: Editors.

Rating: Image:5of5.png

Type: Indie/Rock.

Year: 2006

Songs: Lights, Munich, Blood, Fall, All Sparks, Camera, Fingers in the Factories, Bullets, Someone Says, Open Your Arms, Distance.

Review: Definitely my pick for one the albums of 2006. Editors are simply brilliant, with not a dull moment in the album, and each of the four members play their part to perfection. The music is sort of a cross between Joy Division and Franz Ferdinand, its very hard to describe the sound though. Tom Smith has earned my respect for writing some of the simplest lyrics ever. The lyrics are mostly moody and sometimes very pessimistic. And Tom Smith has an unique singing style which suits the music perfectly. The only minor snag to this album is that it can get a bit repetitive, which is good in sort of a way. The album grows on you with each time you listen to it. My pick of the best songs of the album are Munich, All Sparks, and with Blood and Fingers in the Factories coming in joint 3rd. A must have for every Rock or Indie fan!
