User talk:Spastika

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome to Wikipedia.

You should be aware that your choice of user-name might be regarded as offensive to many users: it appears to be a combination of spastic and swastika, neither of which is likely to endear you to many participants. Your use of the abbreviation spaz is not likely to mollify any offended parties.

Your list of contributions shows that you are not afraid to ruffle feathers: describing the insertion of the proposed flag of Palestine into various lists as "reverting POV" hovers on the edges of honesty; removing references to islamofascism or replacing them with references to zionism looks like more of the same; your comment on Talk:Timothy McVeigh could be taken to mean that you think he was a hero for blowing up a building with children in.

I would warn you that Wikipedia has a long history of dealing with so-called "POV Warriors" and mechanims are already in place to do so again. Please consider changing your user-name and moderating your tone.

I am not an administrator: I have no special powers. I am just trying to help make this project work with the minimum of acrimony. HTH HAND --Phil | Talk 09:32, May 4, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Palestine flag

I would like to tell you that on the List of national flags, there is a debate on wether or not the Palestine flag should be included in the list. I would invite you to join the dicussion, instead of changing things on your own. Zscout370 (talk) 11:07, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR

I've blocked you for 24 hours for a 3RR violation at List of national flags and for creating a sockpuppet to get around the rule. You're welcome to continue editing after the block is removed. If you feel this block is mistaken or unfair, you're welcome to e-mail me using the "e-mail this user" function on my user page. SlimVirgin (talk) 01:12, May 5, 2005 (UTC)
