My name is Daniel Walker and I am a second-year doctoral student studying mathematics at the University of North Texas. My field of study is mathematical logic, but I also enjoy topology. I finished my undergraduate studies cum laude at UCLA in June, 2005 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics.

I was born on August 9, 1983 in Walnut Creek, CA. I spent the first 22 years of my life living in the most beautiful city in the world, Dublin, CA, but I now live in Denton, TX.

Besides mathematics, my hobbies include (but are not limited to) anime, World of Warcraft, and C++. My favorite movies are (in no particular order): Back to the Future, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Return of the Jedi, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and A Few Good Men. My favorite author is the great C.S. Lewis. Besides the Word of God, my favorite books are (in descending order), Till We Have Faces, The Great Divorce, Ender's Game, Captain Blood, and Neverwhere.
