I found a news article that seems relevant at CBS Los Angeles. Searching for "celebratory gunfire" in wikipedia turns up Lebanese unload and New Year's Eve#Injuries and Deaths Caused by Random Gunfire and Unapproved Fireworks Use, which has more links. — deathlime 12:37, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
I also found some links and added them to the article but I tend to think that the topic is legitimate BUT the name seems a little too "unverifiable". Plm209 02:15, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
