María Isabel in Lillehammer
Spain is absolutely the most successful country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest history.
Winner María Isabel from 2004 has released two albums and received the most points at the JESC ever. Sergio (2003) and Antonio José (2005) became second. Some fans compare Spain with Ireland on Adult Song Contest, because of the high results. However, it would be slightly more accurate to compare them to the United Kingdom, who have come second no less than 15 times.
