IMDb profile |
Space Sentinels was a 1977 Filmation animated cartoon series about three young superheroes (one of whom was an incarnation of Hercules) aided by their sentient spaceship, Sentinel 1.
It was originally titled The Young Sentinels until NBC executives decided it would get more viewers if the word "space" was in the name.
The complete series was released to DVD in North America on August 22, 2006, along with the complete series of The Freedom Force (which was originally aired as part of Tarzan and the Super 7)[1].
