Space Ritual - Alive in London and Liverpool is a 1973 Hawkwind album of recordings taped live from the 1972 tour of the same name. Two concerts were featured on the original release which appeared as a double vinyl LP. The first two sides (up to Electronic No. 1) were recorded at Brixton on December 30, whilst the third and forth sides (up the Welcome to the Future) were recorded at the Liverpool Stadium on December 22. Subesquent CD releases have had either no, two or three bonus tracks.
Considered by fans to be one of the group's finest releases, it features the "golden age" band line up of: Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Bob Calvert, Lemmy Kilmister, Simon King, Del Detmar, Dik Mik and Stacia.
Space Ritual features Hawkwind classics such as Master of the Universe, Sonic Attack, Space Is Deep, Born To Go and Brainstorm. Many of these tracks had previously appeared on the earlier studio albums In Search of Space and Doremi Fasol Latido.
There is also a later release entitled Space Ritual Volume 2, which is not actually a sequel but rather a selection of alternate versions of the same material from the December 30 show. This was compiled by former band member Dave Anderson after a series of poor quality unofficial albums were released made from shows from around the same period prompted Dave Brock to allow Anderson to use the remaining recordings from the Space Ritual tour.

- The Black Corridor is a spoken piece, adapted from the Michael Moorcock book of the same name.
