[edit] Malaysian angkasawan (cosmonaut) program
The four Malaysian finalists were [1]:
- Siva Vanajah, 35 [2]
- Mohammed Faiz Kamaluddin, 34 [3]
- Faiz Khaleed, 25 [4]
- Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, 34 [5]
All four trained at Star City. The selected Malaysian angkasawan, Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor will be launched on Soyuz TMA-11 and will come back with Soyuz TMA-10 after a ten day stay on board the ISS [6]. His back-up is Faiz Khaleed.
