[edit] Zatch Bell!

  • Generally, it's best to keep articles free of "red" links, or links to pages that have not yet been created. If you plan to write an article for the Zatch Bell! movie, write the article first, then link to it from the main ZB page. Danny Lilithborne 02:52, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
    • The best way to go is to just write the article on WordPad or something first; worry about infoboxes and such later. Danny Lilithborne 03:24, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Keroro Gunso

Generally, it's best to keep articles free of incorrect facts and spelling errors. Last time I checked, the noun that begins with an I and means "A general mental capability that involves the ability to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, comprehend ideas and language, and learn." is spelled "intelligence," not intelagins, and the adverb meaning "Unintentionally: without intention; in an unintentional manner." is spelled accidentally, not accedadiantaly, and the hat worn by Keronian soldiers is a helmet, not a helmate. I would advise you to spellcheck your articles before submitting them. Kururu is NOT considered a welcomed addition to the Keroro Platoon by the other members. If you want to contact me, do so on my talk page. 6 9 20:30, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
I think Karara is movie only. 6 9 03:31, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
UPDATE: She isn't.
PROOFREAD. 6 9 03:52, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
i agree on 6 9's comment about spelling and proof reading, but about that addition of the split versions of Giroro, I think they would've fit better in the Corporal Giroro article. Other than that, make sure to check spelling and grammar in your edits and your page stretches. That's not considered a good/funny thing. InsaneZeroG 03:07, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
No He's not. 6 9 01:45, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
A talk page is not a chatroom, because if it was, I'd be be bad-mouthing you on a chatroom, not a Talk Page. Plus, character info do not contain summaries. I suggest you lurk a bit more and focus on the little things before you do some big stuff. Wikipedia isn't your playground to hang out on, it's a community that doesn't appreciate badly spelled, mishapen, poorly written and unneeded edits. -InsaneZeroG 21:26, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Karara

  • I don't know what you're talking about; I don't even know anything about Sgt. Frog, much less enough to try to get any article related to it deleted. Danny Lilithborne 02:15, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kingdom Hearts related stuff

Hey listen, I understand your enthusiasm for writing Kingdom Hearts related articles, but sometimes, it's better to just let it go. Please be aware of what Wikipedia is not, specifically in this case, a game guide or FAQ. If a page already exists, contribute to that, rather than creating a new one. Also, try to think about who is going to read the article. Is someone who hasn't played Kingdom Hearts II going to care about what Limits there are in that game? Is someone who has already played Kingdom Hearts II going to care about it if they already know? Things like this are more appropriate for an FAQ at GameFAQs or at some Kingdom Hearts-specific wiki. I love Kingdom Hearts just as much as you but things like that don't belong on a general purpose encyclopedia like Wikipedia. Axem Titanium 20:59, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Yes, it's true that Wikipedia tries to present as much information as possible, but in a meaningful way. It's a synthesis of information collected from reliable sources. An article that lists limits in KHII appeals to only the small minority of people who have played the game when a short paragraph about them in the main article would suffice to inform the large group of people interested in KHII about their nature without boring them with lists.
BTW, merging means taking the information of one or more articles and integrating it with another article. For example, you would merge Roxas (Kingdom Hearts) into Organization XIII by taking the information there and putting it into the larger article. Then, Roxas (Kingdom Hearts) would redirect to Organization XIII. Axem Titanium 22:57, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
What are you apoligizing for? I'm just trying to direct your efforts towards something that won't get deleted on sight by someone else. Axem Titanium 03:45, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Keyblade

To answer, it probably wasn't me, although I did poke at the Keyblade stuff. There's an iron-hard grip around that right now, though, so nothing sticks. Jachra 01:53, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] One Piece

The edits you made to the One Piece template were done against concensus, if you wish to make a change such as this, bring it up in the talk page.

If you want, I will give you links to scanlated manga and fansubbed amime of One Piece that is FAR ahead of the VIZ manga or 4kids anime, and not edited. (Justyn 01:02, 23 October 2006 (UTC))

[edit] License tagging for Image:Chief Medic Pururu.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Chief Medic Pururu.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

[edit] FOOLED!!!!!!!!!

You shouldn't call them reatards. They got that stuff from a ZenkaiKenny re-dub on Youtube (that I saw too). They didn't know him for sure an didn't know Silver's real name. They were fooled and it's wrong to call them retards just because they fell victim to comedy re-dubs and didn't know Silver very well. SoundPound500000 November 7, 2006 3:30

Actually...I was referring to vandals ^^'...someone replaced Silver's name with "Cracka".

The only times I will ever call anyone a retard here will be those who blatantly vandalize pages :)GrandMasterGalvatron 22:03, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Trill Child.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Trill Child.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 19:09, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Battle Network-related articles

Please stop adding superfluous information or misinformation to these pages. It is a Wikipedia guideline that if you do not wish for your work to be edited by other users, that you do not post on Wikipedia at all. Adding information that is already stated in the articles, or that does not require elaboration (as it causes unnecessary clutter and comprehension issues), is damaging to the articles. This message is meant to simply ask you to stop these sorts of edits. However, if you continue in such a childish and uncivil manner, you may be considered for blocking. --Benten 00:33, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Edit: For the record, Iris is her own Navi, clearly demonstrated in episode 20 of Beast when she is struck down by the Zoanoroid army, which causes her to revert to her Copyroid shell. She later demonstrates the process by plugging herself in and out of the Wily Lab computer, and it is stated out loud on many occassions that she is her own Navi. If you cannot understand the source material properly, please refrain from posting false/misinformed information altogether. Thank you.

Reference:

[1]: Iris struck down by a laser blast in human disguise. [2]: Iris' modified Copyroid body seconds later. [3]: Iris manifested holographically on Barrel's shoulder in human disguise.

--Benten 00:57, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

  • After looking through your edits, I am also taking it upon myself to clear up a few misconceptions that you seem to have regarding the series. The Juuka Style (note that this is the official name of the Lan/MegaMan/Trill hybrid stated moments after its appearance at the end of Beast, and not the "Lan/MegaMan Gregar-whatever" that you posted) does not require a Synchro Chip because the parallel world of Beyondard suffered a merging of both the net and real world which allows viruses, Navis, etc. to manifest without exterior aid. This phenomena is also heightened by the time Wily gains his new body, and thus Lan is able to perform Cross Fusion without his Synchro Chip as usual.

Don't make up attack names either: "Double Energy Throw" and "Charge" are examples of false information. They have no official names, and it doesn't even matter since it does not need to be explained.

Or things like this: "Side effect causes both the Navi and Operator to lose control of body, speed, energy drain, and flight." --> There is no loss of control in this style (there was only loss of control for MegaMan alone while he was in the original world, not Beyondard, when he initiated Beast Out with Trill). At most, there is an extreme augmentation in strength, and Lan/MegaMan are able to use Trill's Synchronizer powers to absorb Wily's attacks.

--Benten 01:20, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

  • I got your message. Thank you for understanding. Would you please tell me where you saw Iris and her Navi "talking to each other." I've watched every episode in Beast and Beast+, and I've never seen that happen even once, Iris being both operator and Navi and all. Edit: Oh, and I'd suggest to you, if your getting depressed over this sort of work, to not edit at all in that case, just out of respect to your own health. --Benten 03:07, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Subaru Hoshikawa

  • Before you get all hyped up with adding new images, let me remind you that Wikipedia is not a fansite. The images that you are currently uploading do not have particular relevance to presenting Subaru's character. They just happen to be several transformations, and thus are not required in the article itself. The one image that is already there is sufficient. --Benten 05:07, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Received your message. Waste or no waste, it's a fact that many images remain floating on Wikipedia without being posted in articles; these are either deleted upon request by their original contributors, or for sourcing reasons (ie. unsourced images can be deleted after a certain number of days by admins or bots). Now, with that one image of Subaru that's already there, I have no problem (I just think you need to add a better citation; you need to state where you got it from, and it cannot be a fansite in order to meet Wikipedia's image sourcing policy). Creating a new page just for the sake of housing these images is out of the question; if people want to see these images, they can look them up themselves without having an extra page on Wikipedia just for that sole purpose. Thus, please do not add images in this manner again. I see that you are trying to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, and for that I applaud your effort, but there is just no place on here for extra clutter which does not best demonstrate the subject matter at hand. Ciao. --Benten 01:44, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding "cursing" on Toonami.

First of all, "pervert", or "pervy sage" doesn't really count as cursing. The term is insensitive, yes, but it doesn't count as cursing despite the TV-PG rating. Second, I have heard that statement ("Toonami has had cursing before") before. Yes it has happened, but because it's a mainstream timeslot, those were times where it SHOULDN'T have happened. It wasn't SUPPOSED to happen in the first place. It was irresponsibility on the network's part. Also, don't give me that "but Toonami is a teenage block" excuse. Either way, it's still a mainstream, (read: non-Adult Swim) timeslot, and therefore is not supposed to have cursing. Again, those times it did happen were irresponsibility on the network's part. Look you, I don't have time for this. I felt my edit was appropriate (read: was NOT vandalism), if even if YOU personally don't agree.

In other words, regarding your "Toonami has had cursing before statement" (and PLEASE don't take offense at this):

(shoots you out of a cannon)

(BOOM!)

That's what you said!!

Anyway, it's clear that Toonami is "Snot Fo-You", since you expect it to be more Adult Swim like, but then again what do I know about what you expect from Toonami (or even if you actually watch it)? I can only say this based on how you treated, and/or responded to my edit of the article in question. After all, "actions speak louder than words" as they say. Look, again, don't take any of this personally. I would never willfully make personal attacks against anybody.

And another thing. "sucks" is NOT a curse word. Brittany Ka 17:20, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kinnikuman Info

Bone Cold is a character from Kinnikuman Nisei (Ultimate Muscle) and therfore appears on the Nisei page itself instead of on List of characters from Kinnikuman, which is meant only for characters from the first series. As for "Skullduggery", his real name is Kinkotsuman and not only is he listed on the characters page (near the end of Monster Extermination Days) but he also has his own character page: Kinkotsuman.

Also, thanks for adding game only techniques on the List of Techniques in Kinnikuman page, i've been meaning to do that and start adding Nisei techniques, but the Turn-Over Kinniku Buster and Muscle Gravity are actually from the manga itself and don't need to have their own "Games" section.

The only other thing I want to mention is yer technique descriptions on some of the legends pages. For instance, Buffaloman's Kinniku Buster reversal is done by brute strength alone, not because a magic six shows up. The six becoming a nine is just a metaphor Buffaloman used when he developed the technique.

Whelp, that's it for know. If you want to know anything else about Kinnikuman or Kinnikuman Nisei feel free to ask me, I seem to be the expert around here. Seigi Choujin 14:16, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
