[edit] Biography

Founders Adam LaClave and Jonathan Allen were both members of new wave indie band MACROSICK when Hurricane Katrina forced the New Orleans, Lousiana-based members of the band to split up. With MACROSICK effectively on hiatus, LaClave and Allen took the opportunity to make a departure from Macrosick's 80's sound, and embraced a combination of soul music and glam rock influences to form a sample-based, experimental genre that they term "odd soul".

The band independently released a 6-track EP known as the Diamond EP co-produced with Paul Meany of Mute Math. Club Of The Sons toured intermittently throughout 2006 opening for Mute Math, Jonezetta, & The Whigs in Fall 2006.[1] [2] The tour marked the first time that Adam LaClave, David Hutchison, Paul Meany, and Roy Mitchell reunited since the dissolution of Earthsuit. A full release and another national tour with Mute Math are scheduled for Spring 2007.
