[edit] Photos
The photos are an exact representation of the actual courthouse, which is the subject of the article. --WikiCats 07:22, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- That may be the case but the layout of the photos within the article is poor and the photo of the nameplate of the courthouse is totally irrelevant. I am of the opinion the Wikipedia should only have pictures of notable buildings otherwise it would get rather cluttered. I consider notable to mean old, famous, infamous, unique, newsworthy etc. I suspect that the picture in this article is none of these. At the very least the photo should be of the thumbnail style (ie with a frame and caption) and palced on the right hand side rather than left hand side. Alan Liefting 03:47, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
The photographs were not downloaded from the internet. They was taken by myself on a particular day of the week to insure no traffic and a special time of day for optimum lighting. I spent considerable time photoshopping the image and formatting the page.
Do you have a guideline that say photographs that depict the subject of the article are not allowed? --WikiCats 14:33, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
