I must comment on the nice work done by the creator of this article. It looks really good, and is well organized. I just found it today browsing on the Orange County page, and had to take a glance. It looks like alot of effort went into it. --69.238.59.209 06:17, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

This page gives no information for when the data was accurate, although I assume the population data is probably from the 2000 US Census. It is missing at least one zip code: 90755 for Signal Hill, California. BlankVerse 02:44, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- I added Signal Hill. The zip code you addressed is not avalible on Census nor on DataPlace, but I know that 90755 comprises all of Signal Hill, so I just used their population. That is the only one I see missing, for I could not find anymore. I believe it is based on the Census 2000. The link leads you to a deadspace, but I figured out how to compile the list created by this user after about 10 minutes of figuring the website out.
- I also noticed that when you do Census by Census tracts for Anaheim Hills to create the "boundaries" explained on the Anaheim Hills page, you get 53,996 people, yet the Anaheim Hills page states 53,997? - The problem is that if the website used the 2000 data, then Signal Hill was then part of 90806, plus small parts of 90807 & 90804. Also, a quick check shows that the list is missing PO Box-only zip codes (e.g. 90809 for the main post office in Long Beach on Redondo Blvd.), and most company or facility-only zip codes (e.g. 90808=Long Beach Municipal Airport, 90840=California State University, Long Beach, and 90846=the Boeing facility at the Long Beach Airport). It does have 90822, which is for the VA Medical Center, Long Beach, but that is probably because long-term care patients are considered residents. If this article is not going to be a complete list of Southern California ZIP codes, think that it shold be deleted. BlankVerse 22:22, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

What is the future of this article? Should I put effort into fixing it or is it going to be deleted or redirected to California's list of zip codes? Soltras 23:13, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- As I've noted above, I think the article has some major problems. As some of the recent edits have shown, Signal Hill, CA wasn't the only residential zip code that is missing from the list. I think the list will be hard to make complete for all Southern California Zip Codes, and I don't think that it is worth the effort since I don't the the article is encyclopedic. It is probably better to AFD it. BlankVerse 10:59, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
