[edit] Park county

South Park in Park County is the real inspiration due to its proximity to Conifer, the quote from Parker, and the fact that there is repeated reference to the fictional South Park being in Park County. --The reverend 05:14, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removed

I remove the following:

According to show creator Trey Parker, he renamed his show South Park after originally being named Conifer (see below), because "...that's where all the really weird shit happened." {{fact}}

since it was not sourced, and I couldn't find anything on the net to confirm it. Travb (talk) 05:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
