== The DJs == The station has over 30 DJs. Some of the most famous - 107.1 Rugby FM's Chris Nash, Virgin Radio's Kelly-Anne Smith, the incoming Station Manager and 107.1 Rugby FM Sports Reporter James Martin and Quay West FM's Will Bennett, along with producer and remixer NERA, have been nurtured at Source FM, and have gone on to work at other stations including Kix 96.2 FM, Rugby FM, and BBC WM. The station's news reports are often read by John Creswell, Dan Doubleday, and other DJs. == James Martin and Source FM == James Martin, pioneer of British radio is soon to take up the role of Station Manager on this station. He also currently presents on 107.1 Rugby FM, a station that regularly enjoys RAJAR reaches well in excess of 40%.
The James Martin article is up for deletion, and he doesn't appear to be much of a radio pioneer! Rugby-FM doesn't yet have an article, but there are doubts about its notability too, let alone anyone whose main claim to fame is their show there. Actually, this article itself might well be next on VfD, but this particular text is particularly non-encyclopedic. Andrewa 07:23, 3 May 2005 (UTC)
Removed again, pretty much the same text. Are you really serious? It's the pioneer of British radio that I really question! Happy to discuss it, difficult as it seems to come from an anon using a number of proxy IPs. An entry on vandalism in progress comes next I guess. Andrewa 07:00, 4 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Is this encyclopedic?
I'm a little skeptical that it is. See my latest refactor.
I've had a little email correspondence with Bill Bennett, whom I contacted through the Source FM website. He confirms that he's the original contributor of this article and those on himself and James Martin, and is user:Billbennett. Obviously he's not too careful about whether he logs on to edit, and I've asked him to do so in future.
He still seems to think he's worth an article, and points out he's worked for the BBC (he asked whether I'd heard of them) but hasn't yet responded to my question of what he did for them. But he's also voted to delete all the Source FM related articles, and I'm guessing that will happen in due course.
He contributed these photos of James and himself. I've asked if he'd like to give us some better ones, again no response yet.
I wish them both well in their careers as DJs. IMO they have been at the very least careless and unprofessional in their approach here. But, people go to uni to learn, and giving them opportunities to learn is part of the reason unis have radio stations like this one. Andrewa 16:45, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

The last is, sadly, a case where both the article and its VfD nomination are personal attacks. Andrewa 21:05, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
