Southwest District (BHS)

The Southwest District (SWD) is one of the sixteen geographically-defined districts of the Barbershop Harmony Society, an all-male North American singing fraternity. The District is composed of male barbershop singers living in Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Oklahoma, and part of Arkansas.
As of 2006, eleven of the International Quartet Contest champions were SWD quartets. Two SWD quartets have been Senior Quartet Contest champions. Three SWD choruses have been International Chorus Contest champions, including eleven-time winners Vocal Majority.
