Southland Mall is the only mall that is open in Houma. Southland Mall is a one-level enclosed shopping mall that has more than 100 unique stores, along with assorted restaurants, and services, and theatres.
The mall is north of Houma, located between West Park Avenue and Bayou Garden Boulevard. The mall has three anchors: JCPenney, Sears and Dillard's (through the 1989 acquision of New Orleans department store D.H. Holmes.
