Southgate is a neighbourhood within the new town of Crawley, West Sussex, England. Southgate is located immediately to the south of the town centre. It is bordered by Northgate and West Green to the north, Broadfield to the south west and Tilgate to the south east.
Developed mainly between the 1950s and 1970s, the neighbourhood was named after the former southern toll gate on the main London to Brighton Road which runs through the town.
The area includes the public park Goffs Park and the local Hospice in Malthouse Road.
