Southern Sundevils

The Southern Sundevils are a British American Football team that play their games in Southampton, but train at King Richards School in Portsmouth. The team plays in BAFL Premier Division South in the British American Football League and since their Division 1A Championship win in 2004 have seen regular post season play. The team is coached by former CFL defensive back Jim Roberson and hold a 0.650% winning percentage under his tutorage.

Since the team's creation in 1995 they have won two division level championships and proceeded to post season play in eight seasons. They are also one of only 3 domestic teams to have beaten the current BAFL Champions, the London Olympians, in the past 10 years.

They have also had individual player success with four players being selected to play for NFLE teams; Ron Hart, Russell Goodall, Shaun Smith and T Jenkins. They have also had several players selected to play for the Great Britain and Irish national teams.
