Southern California Fusion are an American soccer team, founded in 2006. The team is a member of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, and play in the Southwest Conference of the Western Division against teams from Albuquerque, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix and San Diego. Originally, the team was named San Diego Select, and then changed its name to San Diego Fusion, before finally settling on the current monicker prior to their debut season
They currently play their home games at two locations: the stadium on the grounds the Helix High School in La Mesa, California, 11 miles east of downtown San Diego, and at Poinsettia Park in Carlsbad, California, 35 miles to the north. The team's colors are black, red, white and gold.
