[edit] Athletics
Being the school has such a large variety of ages, sports are offered at several different levels from varsity all the way to junior junior varsity. Most of the athletics that the school participates in are part of the Virginia Commonwealth Conference (VCC).

Notably, prior to 2004, the school fielded eight-man football teams as opposed to traditional eleven man teams. Being there were no schools that fielded eight-man football teams in the VCC, the school participated in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA). At the time, the school was 1 of 2 private schools in Virginia to participate in the sport.
